Too much has been said about the war between noontime shows Wowowee and Eat Bulaga. I've seen Willie Revillame cry on air saying that he didn't cheat on his show. Joey de Leon, of course, retaliated.
I was more intrigued by what Willie said, about his pending case against Tito Vic and Joey's case. It was back in 1982, the year I was born. I just translated this from Filipino, and I found it on the web at a forum.
Bold stars (that's how they're called back then) named Pepsi Paloma and Guada Guarin filed a rape case against Vic, Joey and Richie D' Horsie. Seems that Pepsi suddenly disappeared and was kidnapped by a Ben Ulo, a goon-for-hire. This Ulo person confessed that he is hired by the Castelos, Vic Sotto's material clan.
According to the girl (apparently Pepsi is still a teenager), Sen Tito Sotto told her to sign the affidavit of desistance so the case won't push through. Pepsi committed suicide shortly thereafter.
So sad. tsk tsk tsk.
